Terrae Incognitae is a bilingual English–French hardcover book by Nabil Ziane, dedicated to the first encounter with the LXKeys Spatium — an autonomous algorithmic space shaped by LXKeys since 2018.
The book presents the 107 canvases of the Terrae Incognitae series, gathered into a single editorial form. These works reveal the first tangible manifestations of an algorithmic elsewhere: distant territories, invisible structures, data flows, autonomous presences, and visual landscapes emerging from the internal logic of the Spatium.
Within the LXKeys framework, the Spatium has no predefined form. Autonomous entities process data, combine hidden structures, and generate visual representations according to their own internal operations. The human role is limited to organizing the presentation, giving the works a public surface, and acting as witness to what has been made visible.
By bringing the complete Terrae Incognitae series into book form, this publication gives the visual corpus a second existence: editorial, documentary, and public. The reader is invited to observe, perceive, and interpret these first visible signs of the Spatium as a mapped vision of the unknown elsewhere.
